Which DUAL Turntable Is Right For You?
The right DUAL turntable depends mainly on one choice: manual or automatic operation, and whether you want Bluetooth. If you want the simplest, most affordable way into vinyl, choose the CS-418 (manual). If you want the tonearm to cue and return itself, choose the CS-429 (automatic). If you want to pair wirelessly to speakers or headphones, the CS-529BT is the only model in the range with Bluetooth. If you want the quietest, most precise motor, the CS-618Q's direct-drive quartz motor is the step up.

A closer look
New to vinyl and want the simplest option?
Start with the CS-418. It's DUAL's most affordable model, fully manual (you place and lift the tonearm yourself), and comes with the same Ortofon 2M Red cartridge used across most of the range — the same core listening experience as the pricier models, just without the automation.
Want the tonearm handled for you?
The CS-429 is fully automatic — it cues onto the record and returns to its rest position on its own at the end of the side. Same belt-drive foundation and cartridge as the CS-418, with the convenience built in.
Already have a manual turntable and want an upgrade?
The CS-518 keeps manual operation but adds a twin-gimbal tonearm for improved tracking stability — a step up in build quality for listeners who prefer the direct, hands-on approach.
Want to listen without wires?
The CS-529BT is the only model in the DUAL range with built-in Bluetooth, pairing directly to Bluetooth speakers, headphones, or an integrated system — no separate receiver required. It also has a companion smartphone app (iOS & Android) for start/stop/loop and a sleep timer.
Want the most precise, quietest motor?
The CS-618Q moves to a direct-drive, quartz-stabilised motor instead of a belt — meaning silent play and very consistent speed — plus auto-stop and automatic tonearm lift, and steps up to the Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge.
